Our aim
Our aim is to make digital commerce practical for everyday Tanzanian businesses and their customers. Many shops still rely only on walk-ins and WhatsApp threads. myDuka turns that into a proper online shop with products, stock, orders, SMS alerts, and conversations in one place, while shoppers can browse, cart, checkout, message vendors, and get notified when missing items are listed.
How myDuka works
myDuka is one platform with two audiences. Vendors run their business with web storefront software, billing plans, and the myDuka Vendor app. Shoppers discover those shops on myduka.co.tz and in the myDuka Shop app. Each vendor keeps their own storefront (a myduka.co.tz address or a custom domain on eligible plans) and remains the seller of record.

myDuka Vendor
myDuka Vendor is the seller toolkit (web dashboard plus mobile app), so you can manage your shop from anywhere. Create products, track stock, fulfil orders, set delivery areas and payment methods, message customers, use WhatsApp AI chatbot on eligible plans, and handle billing. Your public storefront and marketplace listing help customers find you day or night.

Vendors are the sellers of record
Each vendor is responsible for their products, prices, fulfilment, returns and customer service. myDuka provides the software and marketplace; the shop owner remains the merchant you buy from. A verified badge means myDuka approved that vendor for marketplace listing. It is not a guarantee of every product or transaction.
